Dry wet combined cooling tower
The combined dry and wet cooler is composed of a dry air-cooled tube bundle and a wet air-cooled tube bundle. The dry air-cooled tube bundle is placed on top of the wet air-cooled tube bundle. The process fluid enters the dry air cooler for condensation (or cooling) and then into the wet air cooling tube bundle that is sprayed directly for cooling.

Evaporative air cooler (dry and wet air cooler) is a new type of energy-saving heat exchange equipment that integrates wet air cooling with evaporative cooling, heat transfer and mass transfer process. On the basis of the evaporative condenser (cooler), the pre-cooling section heat exchanger is added, the high-temperature medium enters the condensation coil (wet cooling section or evaporation section) before passing through the fin dry cooling section, using the low-temperature humid air discharged from the coil to cool it with a large air volume and large temperature difference, so that the high-temperature medium in the finned tube is precooled and then enters the condensation coil, the spray water is pumped by the spray water to the spray system in the upper part of the condensation coil, and the spray water is sprayed to the surface of the condensation coil, and the spray water is completely covered on the surface of the coil to form a water film. The high-temperature medium in the coil and the water and air outside the coil are heat exchanged, the axial fan forces the air through the condensation coil and spray water, the spray water outside the pipe evaporates and absorbs heat, part of the spray water becomes water vapor evaporation to absorb the heat, the water in the hot air and the unevaporated water are intercepted by the water baffle (water collector) and fall into the water pan, and the water pump is recycled to the spray water system, sprayed to the surface of the coil, and so on for circulating cooling. The water lost into the air is replenished by a water level regulator control.
